My favourite time of the year, summer time, is here and you know what that means! In the upcoming months we will show some more skin to the world, bring it up to the sun in order to get some of that bronze shade and pack up unlimited supplies of vitamin D.
Honestly, despite all the catastrophic scenarios about sunbathing being dangerous, coming home from a summer vacation white as milk is still considered a little summer failure. If it has to be milk, let it be some slightly coloured cocoa (or at least that’s what my neighbour says, I like milk very much 😊). Anyhow, the boom is to protect yourself as well and so we hear about natural sunscreens without chemical filters from all sides. I say it’s worth the try, even though we have been taught: “Stay away from the sunshine from 12 - 3 pm and nothing can happen.” What a sweet advice, and pretty alibistic too, because what are you supposed to do in the meantime? Sit inside and count flies on the wall? Good thing we all have to go to work, where the air conditioning is on no matter the weather outside and you feel like on the polar circle. By lunch they let you out (to the tropics) and then back to the freezer. Or an oven, if your open space colleague hates air conditioning and turns it off for a few hours.
But let’s get back to some more nicely spent quality time, like weekends and vacations. No doubt you need to get ready for this super positive season. That means my coffee scrub MARK, even after or before work! Not only does it cool you off perfectly (Peppermint *wink, wink*), it gets rid of dead skin cells and smoothes your dehydrated post-winter skin. It nourishes and hydrates it like nothing else, so when you put on your favourite swimsuit, besides maybe thinking that summer might have come 3 pounds too early, the look on your beautifully soft skin will calm you down. And when the sun shines on such prepared skin, your tan will be even and will stay for so much longer, I promise.
And even if you stay on the sunshine a little bit too long - despite my advices above - I am here for you! In the shower, put MARK scrub on your body as a mask and let it do its job. Don’t scrub the irritated skin, just gently apply and let it sit there for a while. The oils contained in MARK scrub will help it regain its lost moisture and help in regenerate. To conclude, a generally beneficial advice. Don’t be afraid that using the scrub will peel off all of your skin. Coffee scrub helps to get rid of those skin layers that would go down anyways, and prepare it for yet another round of sunbathing. I mean it when I say MARK will help you maintain your beautiful tan. And that is my biggest gift for you this summer.
Enjoy this beautiful sunny season and hop into that bikini. 😊 You are gorgeous just the way you are.
You too can’t stand the insane cold outside? Even though it is December already and Christmas is literally behind the corner, I still can’t get used to all these thick layers of clothes I need to wrap up into to stay warm. That’s why I decided to do a little research and list down ways how to stay warm and cosy (and don’t look like a snowman)..
